Personal Growth Counseling
Personal growth counseling service is focused on guiding you towards a more fulfilling and purposeful life. I provide support, skills and strategies to help you overcome obstacles, gain clarity, and make positive changes in various aspects of your life. Breaking free from Depression
Did you know that the average depression is stress generated? Research Shows that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an effective model of treatment for reducing or alleviating all symptoms of Depression. I employ a holistic approach that not only uses Compassion to change self-talk along with other CBT exercises, but addresses stress management, exercise, diet, social support systems, medication, and root causes (trauma history, chronic excessive stress). Support Groups
I have led support groups in the past for women in Emotionally Abusive Relationships and anticipate leading them in late 2025 or early 2026. The groups have a curriculum that covers understanding the dynamics of psychologically abusive relationships, Verbal Self-Defense, Self-Compassion, To leave or not to leave, Grief and recovery. Verbal abuse can have a multitude of sources and verbal abuse in a relationship is not an indicator of an emotionally abusive relationship. It is usually beneficial to work individually with a counselor before joining a group.

While I, as a therapist, can provide support, therapy, and guidance in the form of education and skills, only You know you. Only know what it has been like to live in your body. While I may assist you in a journey of self-discovery regarding what you value, only You can make the choices of what goals to pursue with your unique combination of skills, education, values and traits. Together, we will collaborate to keep motivated, focused, and accountable as you work towards reclaiming your life and creating a positive future.

Trauma Informed Therapy
When traumatic experiences are not adequately addressed, people can develop Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Emotions become dysregulated. Normal physical rhythms like sleep can become disrupted. You may not act like your old self. A host of problems can develop, like anger management, isolation, avoidance, procrastination. You may have flashbacks or nightmares.
I employ a number of therapies and techniques that combine CBT with somatic regulation to help you recover a sense of normalcy and well-being.
